Suzy and Hondo are the definition of the dynamic duo! They specialize in empowering small-town dancers, and dance teachers. They started their studio in 1998; it was originally called Top of The River Inc., but too many people thought they specialized in river dancing! Not knowing the proper techniques (always willing to learn though!) they decided to change the name to Suzy and Hondo School of Dance.

They have many years of teaching under their belts. They truly can teach anyone how to dance. They approach each lesson with fresh eyes and tweak it to help everyone learn the best. If you need a little extra time, they’ll gladly walk you through it. If you’re cruising along, they’ll have a new move to challenge you ready when you come back! They adapt to anyone and anything.

Aside from teaching, Suzy and Hondo love to spend time with their two daughters, and two sons-in-law’s, travel to anywhere they can, write their curriculum, and be with their friends. Oh, they also love to drink coffee on the deck with their three big dogs!
