Suzy and Hondo teach many styles of dancing.

• In the Ballroom and Latin classes Suzy and Hondo follow the DVIDA
  (Dance Vision) curriculum, and focus primarily on American Style
  Dancing (Smooth and Rhythm). These dances include Fox Trot, Waltz,
  Tango, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Cha Cha, Merengue, Samba, Bolero and
  Mambo.
• Regarding the Ballroom styles Suzy and Hondo have primarily studied
  the American Style, which permits dancing in open, or outside of
  Closed Position. The next phase of their studies will be the
  International Styles, which maintain a Closed Position throughout.
• In the Social classes Suzy and Hondo bring a variety of
  contemporary partner dances to the dance floor. These include
  Argentine Tango, Country Two Step, Salsa, Slow Dancing, Hustle, Night
  Club, Polka, Schottische and Country Fast Waltz.
• In the Party Dance classes Suzy and Hondo cover Country Line
  Dances, Group Mixers, International and American Folk Dances and
  several Jazz steps.
• In the Jitterbug/Swing classes Suzy and Hondo teach the Ballroom
  styles of East Coast Swing and West Coast Swing. Plus they cover the
  classic styles of Lindy Hop, 1920s Charleston, 1930s (Lindy)
  Charleston, 1950s Jitterbug, Balboa and Shag.

• Suzy and Hondo offer a variety of options for learning.
• Three-week Level I studio series. Level I classes will be done as
  a sampler and will include two dance styles. These series’ will
  last three weeks and will build from lesson to lesson. During this
  series all the steps in Level I will be covered and possibly some of
  the Level II, depending on class progress.
• Three-week Level II (and greater) classes will be offered as a
  focus class and will include one dance style. These series’ will
  last three weeks and will build from lesson to lesson. During this
  series all the steps in Level II will be covered and possibly some of
  the Level III, depending on class progress.
• Drop-in classes. These will be focused on one dance and will be
  one session in length. The drop-in classes may contain Level I or
  Level II material.
• Community Education. Suzy and Hondo currently have a working
  relationship with numerous northern Minnesota area Community
  Education departments. These classes will be a drop-in format and
  will typically cover three dance styles. Contact the Community

• Private Lesson. One on one instruction is the format for the

As always, no partner is ever needed, the focus is on fun, and the
emphasis on basics for beginners.
